Digital healthcare for men's health awarded
Adon Health has been recognized as one of the most innovative startups in the recent Healthy Hub competition. This competition focuses on digital health solutions with the potential to close existing gaps in care and be integrated into standard statutory health insurance in the medium term. This award is a strong indication of the relevance of our approach, particularly for men with low testosterone, who often lack easy access to appropriate treatment.

What is the Healthy Hub?
The Healthy Hub is a joint innovation project of several statutory health insurance funds, including SBK Siemens Betriebskrankenkasse, BIG direkt gesund, mhplus, and IKK Südwest. Its goal is to support startups with medically sound and practical solutions. Participating companies submit digital or hybrid care concepts, which are then tested for their applicability in healthcare practice within the framework of joint projects with the health insurance funds. The successfully selected solutions are given the opportunity to be tested and evaluated in pilot projects.
Why was Adon Health awarded?
Adon Health impressed with a fully digital and physician-supervised treatment model for men diagnosed with testosterone deficiency. The combination of digital diagnostics, medical care, and structured progress monitoring enables comprehensive therapy without requiring patients to travel long distances or wait for appointments. This offering provides real added value, especially in rural or economically disadvantaged regions. Care is provided exclusively by licensed physicians and is based on recognized medical guidelines.
What does this award mean for Adon?
The selection by the Healthy Hub is a significant milestone for Adon Health. It not only confirms the medical and healthcare policy relevance of our approach, but also opens up the opportunity to test new care pathways together with the participating health insurance companies. The goal is to integrate digital testosterone therapy into structured service offerings and thereby enable more men to access high-quality treatment in the long term.
Looking ahead
The award is both recognition and motivation. Digital health solutions like Adon Health's offering can make a significant contribution to relieving the burden on the existing healthcare system, particularly in areas where specialists are difficult to access. In the coming months, Adon Health will work with its project partners to develop concrete care pathways to further advance digital men's health structurally.
